Most of these messages say the same thing. Your downloads still play. The rest waits for a connection.
Short answer
With no connection, only downloaded mixes play. If a message says Can't play offline, read the line under it. It tells you what is missing: a download, a connection to check your subscription, or signing in.
The bar at the top of the screen
- You're offline. Downloaded mixes still play. Your phone has no Wi-Fi and no mobile data. Mixes you downloaded still play. The bar goes away by itself when the connection comes back.
- Can't reach Berceuse. Your downloads still play. Your phone has a connection, but Berceuse can't reach us right now. Your downloads still play. Wait a few minutes. If it lasts, turn Wi-Fi off and on again.
When you press play: Can't play offline
The line under it says why:
- Download everything in this mix to play it offline. Some sounds of this mix are not on your phone. When you have a connection, open the mix and tap Download all.
- Open this once while online to make it available offline. The sounds are on your phone, but the app does not have the mix's details yet. This happens with mixes downloaded with an older version. Connect once, then open that mix. After that, it plays offline.
- Connect to the internet to confirm your subscription. Then it plays offline again. With no connection, your downloads play for 30 days. After that, the app needs to check your subscription once. Connect to Wi-Fi or mobile data and open Berceuse. Your downloads play offline again for 30 more days. Nothing is deleted.
- Sign in to play your downloads. Your downloads are still on this phone, but you are signed out. Connect, then sign in with the same account. They play again.
Needs a connection
This needs the internet. Your downloads still play. You see it when you do something only our servers can do: save a mix, like something, subscribe or restore a purchase. Try again when you have a connection. Your downloads still play in the meantime.
Not on this phone yet
Connect once to open it. Download it to keep it for offline. You opened a mix or playlist that was never opened on this phone. With no connection, the app has nothing to show. Open it once with a connection. Download it if you want it for the next time you are offline.
A whole screen that says You're offline
Check your connection and try again. Downloaded mixes still play. The screen needs the internet to load. Connect, then tap Retry.
A whole screen that says Can't reach Berceuse
Something went wrong loading this. Give it another try. You have a connection, but loading did not work this time. Tap Retry. If it still fails, close Berceuse and open it again. Nothing is lost.
