Downloads live on the phone, not in your account. Your mixes stay in your account.
Short answer
An update keeps your downloads. A new phone, or deleting and installing the app again, starts with no downloads. Your saved mixes are still in your account: open each one and tap Download all again.
What stays and what doesn't
Downloaded sounds are files on your phone. Your mixes, playlists and likes are saved in your account. That is why they behave differently.
| What you do | Your downloads |
|---|---|
| Update Berceuse | They stay. |
| Sign out | The files stay on the phone. You need to sign in again to play them. |
| Delete the app | They are deleted with it. |
| Use a new phone | The new phone has none yet. |
After an update
Your downloads are still there. If a mix shows Open this once while online to make it available offline. on the Downloads screen, it was downloaded with an older version. Connect once, then open that mix. It plays offline again.
After signing out
The sounds stay on your phone, but they only play for a signed-in account. Connect and sign in with the same account. If you see Sign in to play your downloads., that is the reason.
On a new phone, or after installing the app again
- Install Berceuse and sign in with the same account as before.
- Your saved mixes are in Library.
- Connect to Wi-Fi.
- Open each mix you want offline and tap Download all.
Your subscription follows your Apple or Google account, not the phone. Sign in to the store with the same account you paid with.
Back from a long time offline
With no connection, downloads play for 30 days. After that you see Connect to the internet to confirm your subscription. Then it plays offline again. Connect once and open Berceuse. Nothing is deleted.
