Cancel or manage SkipTube Pro

Where to cancel

Apple takes the payment for Pro, so you cancel it in your Apple Account. SkipTube cannot cancel it for you. Deleting the app, or your SkipTube account, does not stop the payments.

To stop the next renewal, cancel at least 24 hours before the end of your year.

Cancel from SkipTube

1. Tap Settings at the bottom of the screen.
2. Tap the card at the top. The Accounts sheet opens.
3. Under your SkipTube account, tap Manage subscription.
4. Your Apple subscriptions open. Tap SkipTube, then Cancel Subscription.

The Manage subscription row shows only when your account has Pro as a yearly subscription. Under the account, a line says: Pro renews every year. Manage or cancel it in your … account.

Cancel in the iPhone Settings

1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
2. Tap your name at the top.
3. Tap Subscriptions.
4. Tap SkipTube.
5. Tap Cancel Subscription. You may need to scroll down to see it.

No Cancel button, or a date in red? Then Pro is already cancelled. You can also open the App Store app, tap your account picture at the top right, then Subscriptions.

SkipTube is not on Android yet. When it is, you will cancel in the Play Store: Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions.

After you cancel

You keep Pro until the end of the year you paid for. Until then, your account still shows Pro. After that date, SkipTube goes back to the free plan. Your saved videos, history and settings stay on your account.

Cancelling does not refund the year you are in. For a refund, see Ask Apple for a refund.

Get Pro again

When Pro has ended, you can take it again at any time. Open the Pro screen and tap Get Pro. See Get SkipTube Pro.

Use the Apple Account that paid

Pro is billed to the Apple Account you paid with. On a new phone, cancel or manage it while signed in to that same Apple Account.
