Locking the phone does not stop Berceuse. Something else does, and it can be fixed.
Short answer
Berceuse plays with the screen locked. The sound stops if you close the app from your recent apps, if a call, an alarm or another app takes the sound, if the sleep timer ends, or if a mix that is not downloaded loses the connection.
Locking is fine
Press the side button, put the phone face down. Berceuse keeps playing. Don't close the app from your recent apps: that stops the sound.
On iPhone
To leave Berceuse without closing it, go back to the Home Screen. Do not slide Berceuse up and away in the app switcher.
On Android
To leave Berceuse without closing it, go back to the home screen. Do not slide Berceuse away in your recent apps, and do not tap "Close all".
What can stop the sound
- A call, an alarm or Siri. The phone pauses Berceuse. Press play on the lock screen to start again.
- Another app that plays sound. A video or a voice message takes the sound. Berceuse pauses. Press play again when you are done.
- The sleep timer. If you set one, the sound fades out and stops at the end. That is on purpose. To keep playing all night, open the mixer, tap the timer, then tap Off.
- A weak connection. A mix that is not downloaded plays from the internet. If Wi-Fi drops at night, the sound can stop. Download the mixes you use at bedtime: they then play with no connection.
Start the sound again
Wake the screen and press play on the Berceuse controls. You don't need to unlock your phone.
