Veilleuse is free for one baby, logged by hand. The Family plan adds the rest, for the whole family. On the monthly plan, the first month is at half price.

What it costs
Logging one baby by hand is free, for as long as you like. The Family plan is $11.99 a month or $79.99 a year. On the monthly plan, the first month is at half price, $5.99. There is no free trial. One plan covers the whole family: up to 3 babies and 3 carers. Prices are in US dollars. In other countries, the App Store shows the price in your currency.
When you see this screen
- At the end of the first screens, when you set up Veilleuse.
- When you tap Subscribe in Settings.
- When you tap something with a small lock, or try something that needs the Family plan. It opens over the screen you are on. Close it, and you are back where you were.
From top to bottom
- At the top: Family plan. At the top right, a round button with a cross closes the screen.
- The title. When you choose Monthly and the half price month is open to you, it says Your first month at half price. The line under it gives the first month's price, then the full price. Otherwise the title says Every day, covered. Every night, too.
- A box called Everything included, with what the Family plan adds: See what is usual and what comes next, on every card, Log feeds and naps by voice, Ask when they last ate or slept, Ask about babies, answered from our guides, Sleep, nappy, milk and meal reminders on every phone, The whole week, one small chart per kind and Up to 3 babies and 3 carers.
- Two prices: Monthly and Yearly. Yearly carries the Best value badge and shows what it comes to each month. Yearly is chosen first. Tap the other card to choose it. The chosen card has a coloured border.
- The big button. It says Subscribe, or Finish activation when Apple took a payment that Veilleuse still has to confirm. Without the half price month, the line under it says Renews automatically. Cancel anytime.
- Three small links at the very bottom: Restore brings back a subscription you already pay for. Terms and Privacy open our documents in your browser.
At the end of the first screens
The plans screen is the last of the first screens. Under the big button, Continue free opens the app on the Free plan. You can subscribe later from Settings.
If the plans do not show
Instead of the two prices, you may see Plans unavailable with Check your connection and try again.
- Check that your iPhone has Wi-Fi or mobile data.
- Tap Try again next to the message.
- Still nothing? Close Veilleuse and open it again.
Nothing is charged until you confirm in Apple's own payment window.
