Tooth brushing is one moment, like a bath. Tap the + on its card, choose when, and save.
Short answer
On Home, scroll to the Tooth brushing card, right under Bath. Tap its +, tap Just now or another time, then tap Save.
Veilleuse is for iPhone.
Where to find it
Home has a card called Tooth brushing. It sits right under the Bath card, in an aqua teal colour. Scroll down Home to see it.
The number on its coloured band is how many times the teeth were brushed today. It is a number alone, for example 2.
Log it
- On Home, find the Tooth brushing card.
- Tap the round + on the right of its band.
- A page slides up and asks When were the teeth brushed?
- Tap Just now, 1 hour ago or another time in the list. A tick shows your choice.
- Tap Save at the bottom.
The page closes. The brushing shows in the card, and the rest of the family sees it too.
For a time that is not in the list, tap Another time and type it. See Log something that happened earlier.
With two babies or more, saving asks Whose teeth were brushed? Tick each baby, then tap the button at the bottom. Each baby gets their own entry.
Add a note
A new brushing only asks when. To add a note, open it after you save it.
- On Home, tap the brushing in the Tooth brushing card.
- Its page opens, with one row for each answer. Tap Add a note.
- Type the note, for example "first tooth" or "finger brush".
- Tap Done, then Save.
To change the time or delete the brushing, see Change or delete an entry.
By voice or with Siri
- By voice: tap the + at the right end of the bar at the bottom and say "teeth brushed at 7". Voice is part of the Family plan. See Log by voice.
- With Siri: there is no sentence to say for tooth brushing. iOS lets an app have 10 Siri sentences, and Veilleuse uses all 10. Tooth brushing is an action in Apple's Shortcuts app instead. See Log with Siri.
Where it shows
- On Home, in its own card, with the number for the day. From 6 months, the card also shows her usual day for brushing, with the Family plan.
- In the week, as its own chart. Each column counts the brushings of one day, and the title shows the total for the week.
- In a day of the week, under its own chip.
- In the spreadsheet export, with the type Tooth brushing.
Tooth brushing is free on every plan. Like a bath, it is one moment and never has a timer.
